Professor Dr. Shoaib Ahmed Gangat is a distinguished general surgeon with over 30 years of experience in both clinical practice and healthcare administration. He earned his MBBS from Dow Medical College in 1986 and achieved his Fellowship in Surgery (FCPS) in 2000. Dr. Gangat dedicated 24 years to Civil Hospital, Karachi, progressing from Medical Officer to Professor of Surgery, with his tenure culminating at Lyari. In addition to his clinical roles, he has held significant administrative positions, including Additional Secretary at the Health Department, Government of Sindh, and Director of the Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Program. After retiring from public service in 2020, he continues to contribute to the medical field as a Professor at Saifee Hospital in Karachi and serves as a consultant at various private medical institutions. Dr. Gangat is also a member of the Board of Commissioners at the Sindh Healthcare Commission, reflecting his ongoing commitment to advancing healthcare standards and policies
